New Feature Alert – Enhanced Security
With the increase of Moaform users, the need for security is also increasing. Moaform plans to strengthen security features over time to protect your valuable data, and the following security features have been added in this update:
- Removal of 'Stay Logged In' setting
- Addition of 'Authentication Steps' setting (PRO)
- Addition of 'IP Restriction' setting (PRO)
- Addition of 'Inactive Logout' setting (PRO)
- Addition of 'Login Record' management setting
The 'Stay Logged In' setting was a feature that remembered users so that they did not have to log in every time they accessed Moaform. However, there was always a risk of accounts being exposed unguardedly when using public PCs or in places where even personal PCs could be opened by others. Since Moaform often collects sensitive data such as respondents' personal information, we decided to remove the 'Stay Logged In' setting to minimize potential risks. From now on, you must always log in when you access Moaform. This may be a bit inconvenient, but we ask for your understanding as it is a measure for safer use.
The 'Authentication Steps' setting allows you to set up additional authentication with a mobile OTP such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator when logging in. Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The 'IP Restriction' setting allows you to set Moaform to be accessible only from specified IPs. You can specify up to 10 IP addresses.
The 'Inactive Logout' setting allows you to set automatic logout if there is no activity on the Moaform screen for a specified time. You can choose between 5 minutes and 5 hours.
The 'Login Record' setting allows you to view your account's login history. IP addresses and browser information at login are provided, and if you click 'Disconnect' on the right side of each record, that connection is immediately disconnected. The records show all login records for the account, so there may be records of the same IP and the same browser. Each record does not necessarily represent independent users or devices. For example, if you log in multiple times from the same device and browser, all of them are recorded.
